Tecno Camon 50 is supposed to replace the Camon 40, and most of the specs will make a comeback. The flat AMOLED is a part of it. By the way, the series also has a Camon 50 Pro with a curved design. The vanilla Camon 50 is based on the Helio G200 chipset. The exact version is unconfirmed, but we do know that it’s an 8-core 2.2 GHz platform with a Mali G57 GPU. The screen could be a 6.78” flat 1080p screen with a possible 144Hz refresh rate. Google Play Console has verified that there’s at least 8GB RAM on this standard Camon 50. It will be plenty to run the new Android 16 OS. It’s possibly overlaid by the HiOS 16 firmware on the Camon 50. The other specs are tentative. Most of the essentials will be the same as before. The entry-level chip can’t support more than WiFi 5 (Dual Band). They pair it with a Bluetooth v5.4 LE. There was an infrared remote tool and an AI assistant key on the previous version. The Camon 50 will also have these features. The optical fingerprint will be on the screen. And most importantly, the phone only connects to 4G networks. Tecno Camon 50 will be right up there with Samsung Galaxy A17 in terms of affordability, but you’ll definitely get a better display and battery on the Tecno phone.
