Infinix Smart 20’s hardware details have started to pour out, and the first thing we learned about it is that it has a Helio G81 chipset. They’ve let go of the Unisoc T7225 chip that had a slower 1.8 GHz clock speed, but this change will come at the cost of graphical performance. Helio G81 has an ancient Mali-G52 GPU. The Smart 10 and 10 Plus’ success was entirely hinged on the design. Infinix Smart 20 will do the same. They recently made the XOS 16 official with the Note Edge. The phone in this listing has the same Android 16 build and XOS 16 skin. It has been confirmed on the Google Play Console listing. The screen for the Smart 20 Pro is capped at a 720p resolution, the same as its parent Smart 10. It’s fair to assume that this is an IPS LCD with a120Hz, refresh rate. We know that the base option will bag at least 4GB RAM and a 64GB storage module. There was also a TUV Rheinland listing among its recent appearances. We found out that the Infinix Smart 20 is somewhat upgraded in the battery category. They’ve now brought a 5,200 mAh battery to this newcomer. Smart 10 had 5200mAh. Preliminary expectations also include a 8MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera. What we have so far easily makes this phone a sub-entry-tier handset, but it’s still not enough to compete with devices like the Samsung Galaxy A07 or Galaxy A06, for that matter. But Smart 20 will definitely be more affordable.
