Infinix GT 50 Pro will replace the older GT 30 Pro, and it skips the GT 40 moniker from the series. It’s odd since the company didn’t mind using the number 40 on its Hot family. Anyway, we have started seeing leaks on the GT 50 Pro gaming handset. Its chipset has been confirmed via Geekbench. There’s possibly a Dimensity 8400 ultimate SoC on it, because the listing showed its prime core clocked at 3.25GHz. Of course, there are more cores: three have 3.0GHz speed and the rest are 2.1GHz. This is nearly a flagship-tier chip. A Mali-G770 GPU is there for gaming. It can be seen in the listing’s source code. Another thing that’s guaranteed on the GT 50 Pro is 12GB RAM and the phone’s operating system, which is Android 16. They’ll probably have the XOS 16 ready by the time the GT 50 Pro goes out. Geekbench scores almost beg this device to be a semi-flagship handset. Single-core points were 1,612. That’s not a lot, but multicore results were around 6,686, which is top-notch performance for gaming phones. By the way, Infinix GT 50 Pro has a model code X6891. That same number was found on the IMEI database. Samsung and other global brands don’t have many handsets that can compete with the Infinix GT 50 Pro in the gaming segment.
