The Reno 14 F is retired, and now there’s an Oppo Reno 15 F 5G in the market with a bigger battery. This category gets a biannual refresh, so there are no big changes in the spec sheet. The design is slightly updated, and there’s now a Ring LED flash on the back. The screen on Oppo Reno 15 F is AMOLED 6.57”, and its refresh rate is 120Hz. We have Dragontrail-Star D+ glass for safety. A 50MP camera lies under the Main lens. It’s OIS stabilized with Autofocus. The other two cameras are 8MP ultrawide and 2MP Macro. Then comes the selfie shooter, which is also 50MP. This is all running on a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip borrowed from the older Reno 14 F. The storage is UFS 3.1, and the RAM is LPDDR4X. Reno 15 F is the only device in the family with an SD card slot, but there is no Infrared Remote option on this handset. The fingerprint is optical on-screen, by the way. They stuffed a 7000mAh battery into this handset, but the phone is just 8.1mm thin. Its charging is 80W, and the chassis is tightly sealed with an IP69 rating. Bluetooth version on the Reno 15 F is v5.1. There’s only WiFi 5 here. Specs-wise, it trades blows with the Samsung Galaxy A36, but this Oppo model is definitely the more affordable one of the two.
